  • I bought this review based on some of the other reviews. It came, nicely in the box, but with absolutely no instructions. We did figure it out after awhile.

I have a Nikon P90 and my husband has a Nikon D5000, both expensive and his hefty cameras. This tripod is not stable at all and at one point in time, the camera actually fell off the tripod.

It is difficult to make the camera become parallel to what you are shooting.

If I could give this tripod away, I would.

  • I like the product but was disappointed that it did not include instructions, but otherwise I was pleased with the quick shipping and the great communication between the seller & his desire to make sure I was satisfied. I would buy from this seller again. Thank you.

This definitely is a light weight tripod. The legs and column have positive locks and can easily handle the weight of a small camcorder or SLR (Nikon D90). At 2 pounds, I wouldn’t hesitate to take it to Disney World or Europe. This light weight wonder has bubble levels, quick release, built-in handle, and even includes a cloth carrying case with shoulder strap.

    I’m very, very pleased.

This tripod was purchased as a birthday gift for my son overseas. When he received it, the legs would not easily extend. When he tried to extend one of the legs full length, the lock and bottom part of the leg just seperated from the tripod. He got it back in, but now must be very careful how far he pulls it out or it comes apart. Since it was sent overseas I could not return it. I am very disappointed in the product, and would advise anyone thinking of purchasing one of these to think again and look further.

Lightweight and cheap, and that’s what you get. Once you put the camera in place, you might need to move it sideways, or make it higher, or turn it at some crazy angle. At this point, you will understand why this tripod is Golly gosh! so weightless! such a low price! It holds up, but you get the impression it would rather not. If I were a pro photographer making enough money and filled with passion for the art, I would spend the money, bulk up, and get a heavier, more expensive tripod that is sturdy and undoubtedly reliable.

As it is, it’s a good budget tripod.
