I bought this battery for my Panasonic SDR-S26 camcorder, after having bought two of the 1000mAH PANASONIC SDR-S26 Battery (Equivalent) batteries as backup to the stock battery it came with.
I was able to get 93 minutes with the stock battery, with the display cover closed to maximize run time.
I was able to get 75 minutes with the batteries in the link above.
Well, I am sad to say that this battery, which (while considerably cheaper than the Panasonic manufactured batteries) costs one dollar more than the two I bought in the link, runs for only 53 minutes.
That is pretty pathetic performance.
Would it have been too much to ask that it run at least as long as the no-name batteries?
I guess I will keep the battery, since returning it will cost more money and effort than I feel like expending, but I will not be buying any more of these in the future, and I will discourage anyone else from buying them.
I recommend the generics in the link, or (if you have the money and want maximum performance) the 1000mAH Panasonic brand battery.
Sorry, TechFuel, but you rolled snake eyes with this one.
