The bag is fairly big, big enough to hold a Canon 400D (XTi) with a lens comfortably. However, there’s no side pockets! So all of your accessories have to be put inside the bag also, where they could fly around freely and hit the camera. However, it does have a lot of padding. The only thing that concerns me is the fact that the accessories are left to fly around inside the bag.
The material seems strong. It does not seem like this would rip or tear unless you decided to take a knife to it.
