The sound that comes from this product is great but I have trouble keeping them in my ears especially during a run. It comes with three tips and one of them won’t stay in my ear at all, the other is kind of big, and the third fits but and i love them for walking but not running.

I was just getting used to being annoyed while running and working out by my earphone cord when I got my hands on these Purebuds. What a difference! Unlike the traditional ‘Y,’ this cord is designed with a short left side and a longer right, allowing the cord to stay to one side and out of the way (rather than your arm getting tangled). I also enjoyed how I could hear the music AND hear what was going on around me, which is very important while running. Not that earbuds are really heavy to begin with, but these are pretty light and aren’t uncomfortable. They come with three different attachments depending on the experience you prefer: surround sound, bass boost, and full range. The best way to hear the difference is to try all three with the same song. You know how you hear a plane flying over a scene in a movie, and the sound seems to be coming from the left, then it gets fuller, then ‘moves’ to the right as it grows faint? You can definitely have that experience with these Purebuds, or not; it’s up to you!

I picked up my set of Pure-Buds-on March 19-I want to be objective as I have had some experience with other headphone’s causing ear pain.
I put the pure-buds in I noticed the fullness of the sound-the high and lows were clear and distict. I enjoy listening to lots of different types of music. So sound quality is very important to me. I agree with other reviews-the sound is clear and crisp even at higher volume. No disorted sound-No pain even after wearing for prolonged periods. I enjoy listening to jazz-I enjoy hearing each instrument, and the vocalist- without distraction. I have had trouble in the past with ear-buds continually falling out of my ears. But, these seem to be a better fit. I didn’t notice a problem with these. I did notice that the wire seemed to be slightly uneven (One side appears, to be longer than the other, maybe it was only on my set) Comment on Reverse Sound technology-I don’t completely understand the concept. But these pure buds seemed to give me fullness, without “ear fatigue” which I have experienced in the past-with other earbuds and headphones. But no “ear fatigure” i listened for 3 hours-without any problem. The price is good. the product is excellent. The only suggestion “I would have would be to have a wireless model” I do get tired of wires-I like to be able to move-without wires-Maybe an idea for future development. I am a musician who likes comfort, quality, at a good price.

I received my Purebuds Earphones on March 19th. I have thus far used my earphones to listen to Itunes on my laptop, the quality from my laptop left some to be desired but it is a three old laptop. However I plugged my Purebuds Earphones into my mobile phone (Samsung Moment, Sprint) and the quality of the sound is as far as I’m concerned is down right AMAZING. I listened to everything from Johnny Cash to Eminem and Martina McBride. Next I plugged my Purebuds Earphones into my 1st Gen Ipod touch and listened to the same songs. I thought the music sounded better on the Ipod but then again it is designed to play music. I tried out two of the three included Purebuds Earphones silicone tips. The Full Range tips work very well for all of the music I listened to, it was very clean with no distortion even when I turned it up as loud as I could stand it. The Bass boost tips work great for listening to Hip-Hop or rap music, I could definitely hear the added Bass tones. I felt no need to to try the Surround Sound tips for my music.
I went back to my laptop to try out a movie with my Purebuds Earphones. I chose Top Gun for the opening music, this is how I test all my audio equipment. I did use the Surround Sound tips for the movie and they sound great. I tried the Bass Boost tips for fun on the movie and there was more bass tones but you do not need it. I thought the Full Range tips worked best for the movie I chose. The sound was very clean. I turned on my TV and turned up the volume while listening to my Ipod touch and I could still very clearly hear the music. And the Purebuds Earphones did not drown out every ambient noise around me while listening at a moderate level. I like this especially while riding my bike.
I think they are very comfortable. I have had a hard time finding a set of earphones that fit comfortably in both of my ears or will even stay in my ears and the Purebuds Earphones do just that.
Over all I think you would be hard pressed to find a better sounding set of earphones, especially at the cost of the Purebuds Earphones. I like the selection of the silicone tips and how they enhance the choice of music or video. I am very pleased with my Purebuds Earphones. I will be using them each time I need to use earphones.

I got a free pair of Purebuds, and since I like them, the least I can do is write a review.
The packaging is really nice–they come in a white box inside a hard fabric carrying case with all of the additional silicon headphone attachments. Mine came pre-equiped with the “full range” earbuds, and the surround sound and bass boost attachments were tucked into a little pocket in the case.
I listened to some music using the headphones as they came, but they didn’t fit my ears very well, so I switched to the surround sound attachment and I’m pretty happy with them now. They stay in my ears, and unlike other in-ear headphones I’ve used in the past they don’t totally close off my eardrums, so I’m still able to hear things around me, which I really like. I hate when I’m wearing headphones and I miss my stop on the train (it’s happened more than I’d like to admit).
I definitely liked the surround sound attachments best, but I couldn’t tell much of a difference in sound. I tried the bass boost attachments for a second, but they were comically ill-fitting for my ears, so I can’t say whether or not they work well.
I like that the headphones seem to be engineered for a really good experience. The three headphone attachments make sure that there’s something that will fit your ears well and sound good. And, although I first thought that the cord felt kind of cheap–it feels a little plasticky and when you pinch it in half, it doesn’t bounce back right away like my sennheisers do, but I’ve also noticed that with the Purebuds, the cord brushing against my clothes doesn’t cause a scratchy sound in my ears.
Overall, I really like the Purebuds, but I don’t have any illusions that they’re super high performance or anything. They’re pretty normal headphones that have been redesigned to sound better and to be safer for your ears. They’re definitely recommended over the earbuds that come with your iPod, Phone, etc. Also, I feel like they’re a little bit better than entry-level in-ear Sennheiser/SkullCandy earbuds.
