The purpose of a laptop is that you can take it wherever you go. Since that’s how my husband and I use our laptops, we long ago abandoned the desk as the place where they sit and charge. I bought this to go beside the chair in the family room, and it’s great.
This was a little pricey, but I think it’s worth it. It’s sturdy, and holds my laptop as well as any accessories (or in my case a book or two).

This is a great idea and accessory with a very sturdy design. The sizing was well thought out and the larger non-laptop compartment is perfect for a magazine.
The color was not as bright as expected and took a bit getting used to as it seemed a bit yellow-ish. Only concern is whether this thing is washable or not in the long term.
Would definitely buy again.

I just purchased this item at Target and was instantly attracted to the sleek design and the sturdiness of the product. By the way, I got it for an incredible $14.50 since it is on clearance (9/14/09). Don’t wait long though there was only 1 in the store I was in. I love that I am able to completely free up my desk drawer! I can store my battery and my mouse also. My 14″ laptop fits perfectly and looks great too beside my desk. I was thinking that I may have to return it when I read in the reviews that it doesn’t hold the larger laptops, since I intend to get the 17″ or 18″ laptop, but was reassured when I read that it can easily be stored sideways. I would not pay $40+ for this when the full price at Target is only $28.99, but they will probably no longer carry them after this. Amazon’s price is pretty great too with free shipping also!

I know that this is supposed to be for storing your laptop at home, but I take mine with me to work. It’s easy to just drop everything I need into it, and head out the door. It’s pretty solid construction and the colors are beautiful. The only downside might be if you have a big laptop it might be hard to get the computer in and out, because the handle is firm so it doesn’t give. I have a small laptop and it has a battery pack that makes it easy to grasp, but the one time that I tried to use it with my older (larger) laptop, it was a real pain trying to get it in and out.

I just bought this today. I agree with the other reviewers, it is a bit pricey online. I bought mine at Target for only $24.99 (and that is the regular price). It is too small for my 17″ laptop, but I have the laptop in a foam sleeve and slide it in the tote on its side (like it is kept in a backpack). I like the extra pockets for the power supply and head phones. I like being able to get the laptop out quickly without zippers and a bulky bag. Looks orderly and neat beside the couch, unlike a computer backpack or messenger bag, which I think looks sloppy out in the livingroom. Great Product, I just wish it was big enough to hold the laptop the other way too. All in all I LOVE this product, it keeps everything together and very handy.
